Bookings, Cancellations & Absence
All bookings and cancellations must be made through the manager or deputy manager, Jayne or Donna.
Bookings
Booking must be made for a minimum period of 1 month.
Cancellations
Following the minimum 1 month period we require 1 full months notice for cancellation or a change of arrangements either in writing or by email to birleypreschool@yahoo.co.uk
Absense
Please note, there will be no reduction in Pre-School fees for any absence. There will also be no reduction on Pre-School fees for holidays taken during the school term.
Charging Policy (Under 5's) from September 2024
Pre-School provision can be bought, based on availability and is offered TERM TIME ONLY.
Children over the age of 3 years old can access 15 hours universal government funded provision or 30 hours government funded provision depending on parents working circumstances. This applies from the term after the child's 3rd birthday. Some children from 9 months of age can access government funding.
For the government funded hours there is a small hourly resources/enhancement charge of 40p for hour e.g. 15 hours per week would incur a charge of £6.00 per week. This is to help cover the enhanced provision that we provide for our 3 year olds. There will be a ratio of no more than 1-8. This higher ratio allows us to provide a more tailored education and group work daily. It also helps us provide fresh fruit and snacks each session.
Government funding covers your child for 38 WEEKS PER YEAR. Where these charges present financial difficulties for a family, they should request a private meeting with the manager to discuss their situation.
Extra hours can be purchased if required to top up your funded entitlement. These will be charged at £5.50 per hour. Families that are not entitled to any government funding will be charged £5.50 per hour.
If your child attends for tea time (4pm until 5pm) there is a charge of £1.50 to cover the cost of food and drink.
Payment
Payment of all Pre-School related fees are required to be paid in advance and received into our bank by the due date stated on your monthly invoice that will be sent to you via email.
Preferred payment is bank transfer.
Late payments will incur an administration charge of £10.00 which will be added to your next invoice.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SUSPEND OR WITHDRAW PRE-SCHOOL PROVISION FOR NON-PAYMENT OF FEES AND NOTIFICATION WILL BE GIVEN IN WRITING.
